Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Sunday, the Department for Education published revised guidance on Monday evening outlining a route map for the gradual and phased re-opening of schools for more groups of students. We are determined to do this in accordance with a key principle :
There is increasing speculation in the media about the re-opening of schools. At present, we have no more information on this than is publicly available. We are planning for various scenarios so that we can move as quickly as possible once the government announces when and how schools can re-open.
