Reception - Class Challenger

​

We provide a fantastic Early Years environment which allows all our children the opportunity to play, learn and develop as individuals. We are proud of our vast outdoor space with climbing equipment, planting area and mud kitchen, as well as a bright and vibrant indoor classroom. Children in Class Challenger have access to both indoor and outdoor provision throughout the day and are integrated with our Preschool children, acting as role models to support younger learners. 

We follow the children's interests and support and challenge them to take their learning in different directions, always striving to achieve their best.

On a Thursday Class Challenger go to Adventure School where we learn to light fires, build animal homes, use natural resources to tie-dye fabric and explore the adventure playground.

We are an Early Adopter of the new Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
