WW2 in Class Victory
This afternoon Class Victory, returned from their lunchtime to find their classroom set up like an Anderson Shelter. They were transported to the 1940s as they entered the classroom to the sound of an air-raid siren. They got into role and acted out an evening at home spent in the shelter, learning all about how and when WW2 started, its leaders and what was meant by the' Phoney War.' They listened to Winston Churchill over the wireless.
