RNLI visit

June 6, 2018

On Thursday, we had a visit from the RNLI. During their whole school assembly, they taught us the four rules of water safety. They were; stop & think, stay together, float and call 999/112. We also got to sing a catchy song about water safety! They then gave each class a talk in more detail. In Class Victory’s talk, they taught us about specific safety on the beach regarding the flags and and what to do if you are caught in a rip current. Then, Ewen (Ned and Tilly’s dad) told us all about some exciting and dangerous rescues that he had been a part of with the RNLI which included rescuing a cow! By Class Victory
