Class Invincible have had an action packed week. For our 'Temples, Tombs and Treasures' topic we have been learning about what life was like for the early Egyptian civilization.
We discussed artifacts and illustrations, understanding how archaeologists and artists have helped us know what was important to Egyptians. The river Nile was essential for a supply of water, aid crop growing and trade. We were amazed at how pyramids took up to 20 years to build and if the biggest pyramid's bricks were placed on each other, they would reach the moon! We finished the week having fun learning about the process of mummification and designing our own Egyptian masks!
